Befriending Scheme
We have launched a fantastic new scheme called ‘KATUNZA‘. This is a befriending scheme to help ensure all elderly Jamaicans in the UK have a friend.
The scheme will pair them with volunteers who will; maintain regular contact, facilitate access to support agencies where necessary and generally reduce social isolation.
If you know someone who will benefit from the scheme or if you would like to be a volunteer befriender, please contact a member of the Association.
